It really is lovely, last year it did the same though the leaves didn't have quite as much metallic markings @susanhumphrey333 @charlottejhurst @elflin @rachelbrooks 😀

I've just had another look at mine Rachel as I'm out cleaning the flags from last weeks painting. Not all the leaves are veined with the metallic just the odd branch the rest are normal ruby red very odd 🤔

It's never done it before @linfoster or if It has I haven't noticed. It only the very lower part of the bush that's become veined the top of it is still a deep ruby colour. 😊

I totally love this plant!

So do I @krishnahairdo I had another look at it today and the veining pattern is on most of the plant now, it was going dark when I took the photo yesterday so didn't really look at it properly! I'm sure it's never done this before, it certainly adds the wow factor for Autumn colours! 😍🍁
