Gorgeous Mo! 💙 Such lovely flowers 👌🏼 and it certainly doesn't seem to have minded having a haircut! 👍🏼😊
Beautiful 💙💙💙
That's a bit different, looks fabulous 💙
Oh gorgeous Mo 💙💙💙
Beautiful💙
So gorgeous @mojo 💙💙
Lovely Mo. Thanks for sharing 😊
Sorry for my late reply to your lovely comments it's been one of those days! 🙄 This plant has been such a delight and a talking point this year, I can't wait to see how it develops next year Along with everyone else's. Fingers crossed I can over winter it 😊 @rachelbrooks @gjones @lovemygarden65 @katgreen @juliesgarden @melvynprentice @pelly @susanhumphrey333
Rachel I think it's going to need a further short back and sides chop, just can't bring myself to do it yet 😊 @rachelbrooks
No! Not yet 😁😁 too much going on!

Had to wait all summer and most of autumn but it's flowering now and there is even one right at the bottom. 😊
Just like blue butterflies 💜💜
Definitely @gjones hoping it will over winter and I can divide it next spring 😊
They are really tiny flowers @ankur1406 and so pretty 💙
You've done really well Mo for your first year with it !! Mine are ready to cut back now and put to bed for the winter..hope yours survived !!! @mojo
Well worth the wait! It looks fantastic!
Its still looking great and the flowers are such a lovely colour 👌🏼💙
Thanks Ann beginners luck. I found more info about them and it said they tend to flower late summer and autumn, I had stopped feeding it ages ago because it hadn't flowered 😔 so hopefully next year I'll get more flowers if I feed it for longer. 🙂 How did all yours do? @Nettle
Thanks Ian and Rachel, I'm so happy it's finally flowered and they are incredibly blue! 💙 I had hoped for a tower of blue maybe I was being a bit optimistic 🤔🙂 @bigemrg @rachelbrooks
I found out they don't like wind Mo !! Our front is very windy indeed and the one there didn't do very we at all !! Dividing my plants worked very well indeed , got really strong plants !!! @mojo
That's interesting Ann. I had two plants. The one that's flowering now was originally around the back of the house where it is much more sheltered. I moved it to the front after I cut back the one at the front ( too early it seems now ) as it had hardly flowered at all. But the front of the house definitely catches the wind more! How many plants did you devide yours up into last year? I'll do the same, is it best to devide them in spring? @Nettle

Very nearly touching the ground but still no flowers 😌
I love this where do you get it I've never seen one ??? 😍😍😍😍
Stunning 🤗
I got it from a nursery in Northwich but just checked and they don't have it listed now but found this nursery that does www.hillviewhardyplants.com/?s=Parochetus+&post_type=product Hope this helps. 😊 It had a few gorgeous blue tiny flowers about a month ago but nothing since 🤔
@raregold71 😊
Thanks @mojo I'll have a look 😍😍😍
I quite like the simplicity and structure of it with just foliage 😊 @mojo although the flowers are very pretty 💙
Looks impressive without any flowers 😍
Lovely 😊
So do I @rachelbrooks and all the leaves close up at night so it becomes much slimmer 😊
Thanks @deb69 😊 It's certainly been a talking point whenever anyone calls at the house 😀
Thanks @jaynehynesburton 👍 Hope I can keep it going for next year 😀

Will it reach the ground ? 🤔 @Nettle how's yours doing ? I've only had a few flowers on mine so far
Oh !!! It's doing really well Mo !!! There's every possibility it'll get very close !! You must be really pleased with it ? Mines doing better at the front of the house than at the back this year so I'm keeping my fingers crossed too that mine will reach the floor !! Fingers crossed for both of us !!! 👍👌
I love it Ann, I have to water it twice a day and I'm feeding it weekly as well. Surprised there aren't more flowers though. Glad yours is doing well 🤗 Yes fingers crossed we both end up reaching the floor! 😊
@nettle 😊
I've had quite a few flowers on mine...but there's very few at the min !! I'll post a pic tomorrow as its pouring here now !!
Looking very good
Thanks Kathy 👍 it certainly is a fun plant 😊 @kathy
Ooh I wanted this , looks great 👌👌
Can't wait to see if it reaches the floor Pearl 😍 @fuschia
Looks really impressive 😍
Thanks Debra 👍I keep looking and hoping some flowers will appear 😊
I love that, must get one for next year😍

My first pharochetus flower. Such a tiny flower but will be amazing when the whole plant is in flower #macro #blue @Nettle 😍💙
Pretty flower. Definitely worth the close up
Thats very pretty
Never heard of this but its lovely will look gawjus in full bud like a tiny orchid 😁
Thanks @vespa @melvynprentice @Keely I hadn't heard of it either until last summer when @Nettle posted a photo of her plant which was stunning and I just had to find one. Ann's was in a hanging basket and just about touched the ground by the end of summer 😊
Yeahhhhhh !!!! 👍 So pleased it's in flower for you Mo !!!! I forgot to tell you previously that you can save the seed from the teeny pea-pods and try n grow it that way...this year I'm going to try growing it from seed !!! @mojo☺️
Can't believe its flowered already Ann, will you let me know how you get on with the seeds please? I'll definitely try myself as well. Do I just dry the seeds out from the flower pods first? @Nettle
@mojo I love this flower colour. Looks like a blue insect whose wings have been stuck on back to front. I also have never heard of it but must try and source it. Gorgeous.
I'm not sure myself yet Mo..!! Think it's going to be trial & error to be honest !!! I'll dry some seed and sow some fresh and see what happens !!! The pods tend to hide in the foliage so you have to find them !! I'll tell you and show you when my pods are there... @mojo 🙂
Thanks Ann I will need my hand holding not really grown much from seed before @Nettle 😊
We'll grow this plant together !!👐 @mojo
It's an amazing plant, I bought mine from a nursery in Northwich I phoned them and they sent it by post very quickly. Very helpful folk www.stonyfordcottagenursery.co.uk @angipangi 😊

Planted up and all ready to go but will keep in the cold frame for a while yet. Thanks @Nettle for the recommendation hope it flowers as well as yours did last year 💙
Looking good @mojo 👍 would like to try this too. Did you get it online? 🤓🐰
Yes I did debs in from www.stonyfordcottagenursery.co.uk They were really helpful and packaged it up really well and enclosed a special little note to say to keep out of the frost until warmer weather 😊 @debs69
It's looking good @mojo !!! Hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours as I do mine !!! #perfectplant #enjoy
...thinking of not dividing mine this year and just top dress it to see what happens !! Determined to get it to touch the floor this year !!! This means I'll have to buy another for the front !!! #fingerscrossed
Is this the same one that @Nettle had? Excellent 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 - hoping you both get great displays this year. I still need to read up on this as I hadn't heard of it before Nettle introduced us to it. @mojo
It's the same one @richard.spicer.7906 👍👏
Aaawh thanks Ann, 😍 I'm so looking forward to watching it grow. Yours was just stunning last year. I was just going to ask you if you had divided yours. I wonder if mine will grow that much 🤔 Does it have to be more established I wonder. You definitely need a pair 😉
Thanks @mojo 😍
Hopefully it'll end up like mine did !! Regular feeding with tomato food helps too.... Good luck with it @mojo, I'm excited for you !!! 😍
You need this one Rich another unusual and a stunner in full bloom and you don't need space in the garden for it. 😊😂
Looks like my parochetus has survived being devided. 😀💙 @rachelbrooks @Nettle
Yeah !!!!!! 👏👏They look great Mo !!! I didn't bother dividing all of mine but they're coming on really well !! Will top dress the baskets with new compost any time soon !!! @mojo
Thanks Ann, glad yours are doing well. I have one more to do, which has grown huge so might get about six divisions out of it, so plenty to give away 😀 @nettle
Jason they are really fab plants. I was expecting it to flower in summer and had nothing but the trailing leaves! Then I read up on it and it doesn't in fact flower until late summer/ early autumn! It has been flowering away happily in the greenhouse even though I cut it back early because I thought it wasn't going to flower! 🙄😀 @Jasonsparkes1
Ooh! All looking good Mo! 👍🏼👏🏼 and still flowering! Fab! 💙
Ooh love that Mo another one for the wishlist 💙💙
Thanks Rachel, now to split the other one up 😀 @rachelbrooks
This is the nursery I bought mine from. They came really well packed and very helpful folk to deal with 😀 http://www.stonyfordcottagenursery.co.uk/ @Jasonsparkes1 @daisy-jane 💙
You won't regret getting one Jason , believe me !!! Absolutely fab plants and a great talking point too !! 👌@jasonsparkes1
I never heard of a pink or white one Lin...do you have a pic ?? @linfoster
It's on my wish list - must get one this year Mo😍
Looks fab..!
