Beautiful! Is it green white (how it shows on my screen?!)
Yes it's the palest of greens with acid green centres @bananapassionfruit 👍🏻💚👍🏻
Can see why 😍👌
How long have you had this for? The first year I have clematis they don't do well. The second seems much better, do they need to establish roots first or is there something I'm doing wrong do you think. Yours looks truly fabulous!
Hi Lynn @LynnS the rule of thumb with Clematis is keep them well watered but not wet, give them fertiliser (rose fertiliser is perfect) and keep there feet in the shade (mulch of some kind) and their heads in the sun. This particular Clematis was here when we moved in 2.5 years ago but it was in a bad state. I took it off the trellis on the fence, pruned out weak or damaged growth and used a willow obelisk for support, mulched it and fed it and it's been happy ever since. 👍🏻🌱👍🏻 #advice
Try this for reference and care tips @LynnS hope I've helped... a bit. https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=97 #clematisadvice #advice-clematis
Thank you @mrsflowerpot that's great advice, I planted them late in March and missed pruning them which could explain the late uptake. Like I said maybe they'll be more settled next year. I now have a great set of instructions to follow. Cheers and enjoy the rest of the bank holiday xxx
No Problem lynn @LynnS I hope they thrive for you. Have a fab bank holiday Monday 👍🏻💚👍🏻
