Euonymus 'Paloma Blanca'

A lovely low maintenance part shade border created for one of my customers this week. Using Euonymus 'Paloma Blanca' and Hebe 'Heartbreaker' highlighted with Voila 'Rebecca' and Voila 'Etain'. It will look stunning year round when established. 🌷🌸🐝🌺🌻. #viola #evergreen #colourful

Looks great. Our has reverted to green with no white at all. Any ideas why?

@geoffboston do you keep clipping it?? I think the white variegated shoots form from just from new growth so if it's an old bush there will be no new white shoots forming???? My advice would be give it a clip and see what happens. Happy Gardening 😀

It is a new plant less than 18 months old and has been left alone. It is in the sun not shade so I wonder if that is the problem.

@geoffboston no it can do well in all kinds of aspects so the position shouldn't really matter. The white foliage only last for a few months in mid spring to early summer and so even if it had been clipped the effect is short lived then the leaves mature to glossy green. Just give it a prune in early spring next year and then it will give you the effect for a few months after 😀
