I'm not certain that the zigzag plant and jacobs ladder are in the same family of plants.... 🤔 @lovestogarden @brightcolours @PlantDoctor @KelsiBriana @ShelleySnyder - thoughts?
“Euphorbia tithymaloides is a perennial succulent spurge.[1] An erect shrub,[2] the plant is also known by the scientific name Pedilanthus tithymaloides. However, the genus Pedilanthus has been submerged into the genus Euphorbia, and is more correctly known by its new name (Euphorbia tithymaloides).[3][4]” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euphorbia_tithymaloides
“Euphorbia tithymaloides has a large number of household names used by gardeners and the public. Among them are... devil's-backbone,[6] buck-thorn... christmas candle... Jacob's ladder, Japanese poinsettia... red slipper spurge, redbird cactus, slipper flower, slipper plant, slipper spurge... zig-zag plant...” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euphorbia_tithymaloides

Kari, apparently Jacob’s ladder is one of its common names (it has many!!). 😳 It’s also had a proper name change, which needs to be reflected in the GT plant encyclopaedia. See my quotes from Wiki above. ⬆️⬆️⬆️ @KariSamuel @lovestogarden @PlantDoctor @KelsiBriana @ShelleySnyder #plantencyclopaediauodaterequired
This is good to know. I was with Kari on this before I read your post Katie. Learned something new again! @KariSamuel and @brightcolours
Thanks for all your input I’m definitely no expert so do you guys think I should change id or leave it? @brightcolours @lovestogarden @PlantDoctor @KelsiBriana @ShelleySnyder
You’ve got the right listing, as @KelsiBriana has said. 👍
