Help me add this plant to your encyclopedia. It's called Crocus moabiticus. The king of all crocuses. #Crocus #sandysoil the image was taken on 29th of November 2021, from Umm Ar-Rasas near Theban, the ancient capital of Moab. Look at that beauty.
http://royalbotanicgarden.org/plants/crocus-moabiticus @gardentagsplantsteam - Can you help add this to the encyclopedia? Seems to be quite a rare one?
@gardentagsplantsteam @teamgardentags it is not a usual Crocus or an unknown variety, that is Crocus moabiticus. Belongs to the sativus family, the edible spice. Please add it. A more credible source of information https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:436613-1
Hi again 👋🏼 - similarly with this plant, have a try at adding a new plant record. If you prefer, you can add just Latin name and/or common name - most users do this as they don’t know the full cultivation details for the plant. That’s fine, and over time we will add the missing info. This looks like a new record. As you’ve already tagged the generic record for Autumn Crocus, you’ll need to remove that first before you can link a different record.
On your profile page, on the plant list, click the pencil icon next to this plant. It will give you some options, one of them being 'change encyclopaedia link' - this will allow you to change it to something else, or create a new one (as before) 👍🏼
One last point to mention, once the entry is created initially it is not possible for a user to go back and edit the information unfortunately. However, if you have made any errors (eg spelling or just incorrect/wrong info) just tag us and we will edit it for you in the background as soon as we can. Hope that helps, and happy tagging 🙂 @mutzalhawash @KariSamuel

@KariSamuel thanks a lot for your support. It is very rare. Actually it's an endangered species
