@Muzz67 I wondered if mine were coping or not. Seems they are doing really well. It’s 38° here today. I’ve been putting garden chairs on gardens as temporary shade. We’ve still got stuff packed away in a shipping container. I’m wilting in the heat, can’t imagine how they feel 😱. Stay cool

The garden chairs are a good idea I might pinch that idea myself.i had a semp do the same thing I potted it up and put in semi shade.

@Madgardener70 Jody @RozH Roz the chairs are a great idea I might try it 😁 My special semps are in pots so the poor plants in the garden just have to deal with the Aussie sun and if they are near death I've been potting them up and putting more of the ones that cope better in their place.Its interesting to see the ones that do cope 😉

Thanks @suerichards 😊 @Madgardener70 & @Muzz67 I keep looking at them & almost apologising to them for the heat. We had 40° here yesterday & it’s so dry!! I can’t even judge if I need to water them or not 🙈

We are getting 34-38 degrees here at the end of the week a lovely 20 degrees today and I live in a cool climate I’m going to use the chairs on the hotter days

Send some sunshine this way please it’s 12 degrees in London brrrr
