Oh my gosh! Now that is a beauty! Just amazing! πππ

I only got one baby to grow from the stalk when I head chopped this one so fingers crossed it thrives. Its around 4cms across atm .I really love this Echeveria. Its so much like a flower. @cazz47 @terrimclaughlin @ripjuju @Joan323 @PunkyKy π

Thatβs gorgeous! I think I found my new favorite plant!

Thatβs an awesome colour! ππΌπ

Its lovely isn't it Ivana @aloeuverymuch

It is indeed @richard.spicer.7906 .I think it is one of my prettiest π

@Muzz67 if youβre ever selling any offshoots or know if someone that is, please let me know!!!

I beheaded it end of winter and its finally picked up.The stalk only produced one offset unfortunately πSo the tiny thing is in it's own pot and fingers crossed it grows.I have to say it is a beautiful one and a fave of mine.Wish I could send you one especially if i get more than one baby but I'm in Australia ....π @aloeuverymuch .Have you seen them online anywhere for sale ?

@Muzz67 aw man thatβs far!! I havenβt seen any for sale anywhere but Iβll have to keep looking π

One will turn up for you Ivana @aloeuverymuch .Ive not tried to propagate from leaves. Its very hard with the thin leaved ones I find ?

@Muzz67 yeah itβs harder with the thinner ones! I found that if I stick them in a sand and perlite mix, they do better for me!

Oh nooooo !My beheaded morning light looks like it has a terminal flower stalk π

What's that mean? Why oh no?π€

It may die Michelle π @purplebird

Can you please tell me more. I don't know very much about succulents.π€

Oh dear! Or maybe not π€π€ππ

Mine die too. Can you propagate the leaves right now or is this one that produces little babies like hens and chicks?

I believe that if an Echeveria flowers from the centre that it dies afterwards as the plant wont grow anymore .The flower is called a terminal flower meaning terminal plant Michelle @purplebird

@jennlamaye I beheaded this one and the stalk in another pot has sprouted a pup so far so if the head or mother dies at least I have a little new one.It hasn't pupped under the mother before and not sure if I can be successful with propagating leaves with this one .We'll see how it goes I guess.Im still hoping it's not flowering from exactly the middle π

Interesting! I didnβt realize itβs the flowering from the middle that kills them! Good to know!

Thanks for the lesson π€

@jennlamaye @purplebird I really hope it's coming out very slightly to the side ! Fingers crossed it is π

@QT

These leaves are shorter and rounder than afterglow

Have you scrolled back at the other pics as it grew? I know what you mean though. You could leave it labelled as is and watch it change and relabel as needed @qt

Thank you @Muzz67 for your help , I will keep an eye on mine and will post updated photo as it grows ..

Good Ill look forward to seeing the progress @QT
