Night shot as this beauty begins to open. Waited years for this 😍
Super. #epiphyllum
@Muzz67 is this a really big cactus that is a climber? There is one at my parents & Iβm not sure what it is & if itβs bad or not.
@Muzz67 definatly worth the wait
Not big or a climber but it's got long lanky leaves @RozH
@Muzz67 after seeing your flower I recall mum having one of these at her other house & photographing the flower at night. Wish she was here to help me 😔. She loved her gardens.
She would be proud of you Roz carrying on the love of gardening @RozH 😍
Thank you @Muzz67 βΊοΈ. My sons call me the crazy succulent lady 😂
My kids do too !!! Lol @RozH
Nice surprise this morning ! #epiphyllum #epiphyllum-flower
This flower is from the same pot of epiphyllum that flowered last year. The colour is you scroll back was different so maybe I'm going to get more than one colour as the plant or plants have multiple buds whereas last year I only had one flower? We shall see 😉
Beautiful 💖
That has the "wow" factor built in 😊
Stunning 💕💕💕
@Muzz67 omg im in love its gorgeous how do u get those to bloom ive had one for 6 yrs and no blooms
Do you have a name for that one. Its just like one i have that i have no name for.
The colour can change from the conditions its kept in or as the soil changes, sunlight and fertiliser.
Gorgeous 😍
Thank you so much @suerichards @gjones @quinnedy @kez001uk @christineb 😁
@hannahchristine I think it may be neglect that makes it flower? Lol
@cactusnut Sorry I dont have a name and I think there may be more than one variety in the pot hence the different colour .Well see what else we get. Last year my hubby @cactiluke successfully crossed a Schickendanzi cactus with this epiphyllum .Only one way worked the cacti got seeds and weve grown a new Species!!! One seedling is grafted and growing well. There are 20 others growing in pots too! Very exciting.
