Looks like Jerusalem cherry, solanum pseudocapsicum could the bad branch be damaged and does your pot have drainage? @myspacelor
@tinaaune it's just been moved into that pot from a pot that did have drainage - do you think it has been watered too much?
If not damaged then yes it could have had too much water, I would remove that bad stem down to good wood @myspacelor
