I have no idea which variety these are but I do know the bulbs are over 50 years old. I found them by accident in dense scrub brush along the train tracks that run by my house. To my knowledge no house has ever been in this spot so who knows what story these tell but it's exotic for sure
You learn something everyday this is not Ismene but a native of the south eastern us so it's a #native for me.
I've only seen these in the wild at that spot and I've been all over scouting the woods for new #adventures
