Nah, but it’s a commonly confused as the same - although gardeners have been calling them geraniums for many years. My mum and gran still call them that too 😄. But technically Pelargoniums and Geraniums are actually separate genera and quite different plants. But I doubt the common name will never go though as it’s a popular term.

Ughhh... a whole lot of tiny black dot pests attacked my #geranium (and while it was inside! 😭😭) so I washed it down crazy with the hose and looks like i got them all! Then cut all the ruined leaves off.. and one new leaf is already growing back! 😍😍 I'll get her back @missysld

I'd cut that really long stem back down near the small stem. You could propagate from the stem cutting.
