Neighbour hood church.. Poor trees, 6 healthy old chestnuts 😤 because there messing with the drains , oh dear 😬 so the trees gets the chop. With the money they spent on the tree surgeon why not move the drains.. Stupid place to plant chestnuts next to a building I suppose 😬 I'll try getting these 3x going to keep a Wee bit going. They were my favourite conker tree this side. Of town , good pickings 👌🏻

Same here Naomi with ash trees, probably lost a third or more along our canal although they are replanting new ones !

So glad there replacing @juliesgarden 👌🏻 here well😬 sure they'll pop something in. Have a feeling these were the easy option... Ironic really would have cost the church committee less to move the drain, 1 X drain they were effecting... Sorry slightly ranty , I've adored these for 40 years 😫 and probably others for a good 90 -100 years before me if not more... @godfreye @drewneil @littleproverbs @bensam59 agreed 👌🏻
