The soil is poor full of stones.it is well drained if you can get the spade in I use a small pick axe.South Shropshire is beautiful with lots of hills.we do get lots of frost.Fingers crossed its the end of them because I have another garden in Fuerteventura which I have to attend to in 2/3weeks.
