@Naomi126 Are you pollinating your cucumbers? I have heard here on GardenTags that pollination of the blooms can lead to bitter cucumbers & that it's best to not pollinate them. At first I thought this meant no cucumbers would develop until I harvested my first juicy cucumber which bloomed when there was not a single male bloom around anywhere. However it still grew into a juicy cucumber & without a hint of bitterness.

@zylo , I am yeh , but these are for gerkin pickling, there just not getting fertilised and dropping off, ( nothing flying on the wing here with the winds at the moment 🌬😜😆) needs must, thanks 😘
