Very much a novice, no green thumb here. Love greenery indoors, love a interesting cactus, and pinch mums succulents for outdoor pots and texture 🌵🌱

HELP soooo maybe I didn’t kill the Xanadu.. The roots seem too be still alive, even though the leaves all died and some of the top had rotted. I know it was too wet. I hadn’t watered for about a month but the soil was still wet when I did the autopsy. Looks root bound? So what next? Bin or cut roots off and repot? Suggestions pls 🤔

They’re tough!! Are they new shoots or roots near the base of the plant? I’d plonk the root mass in fresh, good draining potting mix, water in well and see what happens.

More pot plants are killed by kindness (overwatering) than neglect!!
