It’s very confusing that it’s known as C diffusa in Qld! 🙄 The two native Commelinas in my area in SEQ are “Blue Commelina (Commelina diffusa) and the Queensland Wandering Sailor (Commelina lanceolata). Then there is the introduced weed, Hairy Commelina (Commelina benghalensis).” https://www.lfwseq.org.au/native-vs-weedy-commelinas/
