@brightcolours it took about 2 hours for them to do the job. I have a dombeya cayeuxii that I will plant in it's place

You could keep some of the cut bamboo poles and make a fenced area or trellis .....just a thought

@jacaranda yes it is but I'm paying someone to do it and take it all away

How vigorously does that spread? It's very attractive

@lesliecole49 this one is very large, at the moment it is about 12 metres high and 2.5 metres wide. It's a slow grower so it's manageable

@Dragon_Warrior there are many varieties of all sizes and colors I'm sure there would be one suitable for your situation 😊

A friend of mine has, I think it's a chinese bamboo by her creek. Some of them are nearly 10 inches (25cm) around and you have to go at it with an axe if you want a piece of root to start. I didn't want any but another friend did and we gave up! Too much work!

Lovely have you stripped the leaves ? Or does it grow like that?

@sharonhayden no it grows like that, the leaves start at about 2 metres it's quite tall about 10 metres

How big are those canes! 😯🖤
