(Acquired 13 Sept 2017; PhP450; Laguna) 15 Sept 2017: First of two ferns I got (the other I haven't ID'd yet)! I have ferns in the garden but someone else takes care of them (we just leave them alone actually; they're thriving but not picture perfect). I've avoided ferns for myself but these leaves are just too pretty! My plant guy calls it "butterfly fern" because of the leaves' shape. Hope I got the name right. Almost a foot tall. On the roofed porch, east side. #Nephrolepis #LemonButtonFern
Light: low, filtered shade; no direct afternoon sun. Water: moderate; keep soil moist - don't let it dry out nor let it stay soggy. Soil: mix peat moss into potting soil; well-draining.
