Found this on my #chineselantern and it’s a question for @treefrog44 because I don’t think it’s a seed pod. I did see some webbing the other day but no caterpillar.

If you have your cassia's nearby, the caterpillars will either stay in the plant or crawl away and make the chrysalis... they usually hatch in about 8 days... what I have experienced is they hatch overnight and also early morning. Then they will take off at dawn! The color of your chrysalis indicates it will hatch soon, they will darken the closer they get to hatching. So excited for you! 😆

Thanks @treefrog44 !!! I do have several Cassia plants nearby. So excited!!! Hopefully I get to see it hatch. But just excited to know I have some and will keep an eye out. 😊😊
