Saw some thrips on the leaves so decided to harvest and compost the plant

This plant has taken off in the last couple weeks. Roots are pushing thru the bottom so I'll transplant soon
Decided to transplant into a container since the early damage delayed it and with the short season I probably wouldn't get ripe peppers

Cool shape!! They look VERY spicy.
I tried one when it was turning orange and there wasn't any spice and had a hint of apple taste. It's supposed to be somewhat spicy though so I will try again soon with a ripe fruit
