I'm glad I didn't end up ripping this thing out of the ground because new growth is coming out all over. I added the bed soil around the plant so it's a good 2 ft below the surface to I can only imagine the root structure now. Definitely the healthiest tomato plant in the garden right now.

Tore off all the dead leaf material and left what looked like a couple healthier ones. We'll see if this skeleton can come back to life

Thanks, I may have also over watered a little since I added plants around this tomato plant and then watered in. The mulch is thick and still most on the soil. Should be getting a bunch of rain soon with the tropical storm so we'll see. New setup requires some tweaking
