I see that you have raised beds, so do I here in Belgium for my special potatoes, onions, corn, zuchinnis at an allotment nearby. Things that occupy space. But all the others I grow at home with Square Foot Gardening. I planted colliflowers but mistakenly used the wrong fertiliser (too much N (nitrogen)?(lots of leaves), not enough P (phosphorus), so tiny, tiny heads (the flowers)

@humas,I dug in bags of pulverised cow manure and 5 in 1 organic plant food for the cauliflowers,you see the results, I don't mind the extra foliage as it protects the heads from hot sun and keeps them white.
