Help me identify this plant. I thought this was a weed but maybe not?? Almost chopped it all down with a machete, but it looks like it’ll have some pretty flowers, so I’m glad I didn’t.

Possibly a hardy hibiscus.

Lol it was a guess. They are both in the plant family Malvaceae. So at least I was on the right page 😂

@Katalin one of it’s common names is “sleeping hibiscus” so I mean CLOSE ENOUGH 😂
