This is a baby I took off of my plant and gave to my father in law for his lil’ cactus and succulent garden. It’s doing well!

Looks great. 👍🏻

Hi Lauren! 👋🏻 How have you been? Your dusty Rose is looking great!

@Yollymac thanks! I have been doing alright, been really rainy and some of my babies are just not excessively happy so I’ve been a bit bummed about that lol. I planted some watermelon recently and they are loving the rain, so I’ve got that going for me lol

Oh that’s exciting! I love watermelon! We have also had some rain and temperatures on zero. I had to literally move all my plants indoors two days ago until night time temps let up due to bad frosts! I feel your pain. 😞

@Yollymac dang that must have taken forever! I have been trying to shift my plants around so that they get enough sun without getting drenched when it rains but it takes so long! I need a greenhouse D:

Me too!! 🤓

@Yollymac the month that I first got it

@Yollymac do I feel a bit silly. So, when I ordered this, I did a large order with lots of other plants. On my list was Echeveria "Dusty Rose." The seller had got back to me and regretfully informed me that she had JUST sold the dusty rose that I had in my large order. I had G debbi on the list. I'm guessing that I never received the debbi and I actually got the dusty rose. Does that look right? http://www.crassulaceae.ch/de/artikel?akID=48&aaID=3&aiID=D&aID=3493

This plant is a Debbi. 😃 They can go a little grey but will go nice and pink in your conditions judging by your other plants.

@Muzz67 @brightcolours

Looks like my G.Debbi 😁

@Muzz67 - yeah it does - but look at the previous photo - it’s not the same plant.

Oh i see! ..... no it's a different plant @Yollymac

@Yollymac @Muzz67 I don't know why this happened but it is the same plant in all of these pictures. I agree that it looks like a totally different plant now. We do not really have a lot of places who sell succulents here so I have records of most of my orders online. I have bought a single debbi which has been labeled in the same pot the entire time I have had it. Either this was originally a etiolated dusty rose that looked like a debbi or it is just a really weird looking debbi now.

@gardentagssucculentexpert

The plant in this photo is not a dusty rose, but if you choose to label it such, then that’s entirely your choice. I am sure the expert team will confirm either way. Might pay to help them by uploading photos of flowers when you get some.

@Yollymac I am trying to be patient while waiting for flowers lol. I don’t want to just call it whatever I want I just want to know what it is. I suppose because so many ppl, even myself almost had I not witnessed it, find it unbelievable that these are all the same plant in these pictures, it just makes me that much more curious. 🤷♀️ I feel like I am being difficult but I am just so interested! 😅 sorry if I ever bother you I just don’t have many people to talk to about succulents here. 😓

Not at all Lauren, I am always happy to help where I can. 😊

#succulent #graptoveria-debbi
Both of these are so plump compared to mine. Look like chubby roses.

Are you sure about this ID..? This plant is spectacular but I don’t believe it to be Debbie. Didn’t think it was it looking at your collage either. @Muzz67 @KelsiBriana - thoughts?

@Yollymac this one I am sure about. I can upload pictures of what it looked like when I got it last year and you would say for sure it’s a debbie.

@Yollymac most of my succulents look completely different than when I first got them and I’m not sure why🤷♀️ Perhaps the unique climate here in Louisiana.

@ohhyouknow, climate doesn’t change an Echeveria into a Graptoveria as an example. It also doesn’t change the plant structure. Debbi has more leaves per layer and a completely different leaf shape even when extremely chunky. I tagged you in Jacqui’s. Let’s review flowers when it blooms.

This photo isn’t a Debbi. I think you have two plants under the same listing.

This plant is stunning ! I don't think its Graptoveria Debbi as leaves are too short and much thicker than Debbi @Yollymac

@Muzz67 yes, leaves are wider, placement is different and there are fewer leaves.

@gardentagssucculentexpert

@yollymac, thank you for the tag - it does look like there may have been a mix up here. This photo resembles E. Dusty Rose, however the prior photo is G. Debbi.

Hm so weird, I have never bought a dusty rose, only attempted it once at the same time I bought the debbi. @gardentagssucculentexpert Thanks for getting back to me and @Yollymac thanks for helping

@KelsiBriana this is a progress collage of the same debbie. Thought you may find it interesting. The oldest picture is like a week more recent than that pvn looking picture. Crazy, I made this collage like two weeks ago because I was like “this gonna be one of those plants that nobody believes is what it is lol” I am so glad I have all these pots labeled or I would not have accurate ids for most of them bc they look so different all the time.

Thanks @KelsiBriana I always thought succulents were weird but the longer I have them the weirder they seem to me!

Making lots of babies! #succulent #succulent-propagation

@KelsiBriana this is a debbie it is the same plant. Like my powderpuff and several others, it has gone through some dramatic changes. Like, the little baby in the background, is the same one that is in the other picture. Wind knocked this pot down so all the props and pebbles at the bottom got moved around a bit though.
