Settled in!

New big Boi stretched lovely rose. Gonna plant it with the little bois then behead it once it's established. Then... profit???? Nah, hopefully just a gorgeous full pot.

2/12/19 making progress!

@jyotu aerial roots on my lovely rose. I am not really concerned about them because the plant is rooted well and in appropriate soil. I know the roots are well established by how the plants get plump when I water. If there were trouble brewing beneath the surface it would have trouble taking up water. If yours is taking up water fine you have nothing to worry about.

Then aerial roots were only seen in graptoveria ?

@jyotu no they are seen in all kinds of plants! A lot of my succulents have them.

The succulent that was in the wrecked box. This nursery shoves pillow stuffing around the plant, then wraps them in toilet paper with a single strip of tape. (This I’m amazed by.) It actually looks like a little pillow. Then they put it into a box stuffed generously with more pillow stuffing. Best packaging I’ve ever seen tbh. I’m keeping the stuffing to use in future trades.

9.1.18 All rooted nicely. I’ll admit it, this was originally two cuttings that I got in a trade. My clumsy self snapped one in half just picking it up out of the box when I got it. Wellp, looks like I got three cuttings. Score!!
