What do you use to fertilize your succulent?

@naisk I used some of the fertilizer that I use for my raised bed garden bc I have about 400 lbs of that. Looks like little beads. I put like two of those beads in a gallon or two of rainwater, let it dissolve and then used that to bottom water. This was the first time I ever fertilized any of my succulents. I’m keeping a close eye on the ones I did to make sure they don’t stretching from too many nutrients. So far, so good!

Sooo I lost my m. Rose in the event that I’ve been referring to as “the sun bleachening” It was rainy and overcast for weeks and then got suddenly sunny. I had a lot of plants in the little greenhouse in a place that was shaded most of the day. I figured, put it in good shade so when it gets sunny again it doesn’t shock the plants. Well, the morning it got sunny it was HOT. In a few hours all of the plants were discolored. Some of them had been completely bleached and steamed and the leaves turn

ed white and translucent. M rose was one of them. Thankfully I sent two babies off in a trade and the girl I sent them to sent me back a few leaves. I was able to save a few leaves and a small SMALL baby. I am impatient though so I bought another that will eventually live with the offspring of my first. Sold to me as E “Roma” this time. Last time it was E “Noma.”

Flower taking it’s sweet time. I was thinking about doing a new community pot to free up smaller pots, but I’m not confident enough in choosing what will cooperate together. Really wanting a fat and sassy pastel pot. I will probably think about this for months and then never do it lol. #succulents #graptoveria #pastel

I think go for it! If you put similar fat leaf ones they will be great and the beauty of it is that if something's not thriving then you can move it ! 😁

Got this plant in yesterday. Sold as “echeveria Noma” but that’s not in the ICN. Any ideas? #plantid

@Ravenna Thank you for the suggestion! I do not think these are hens and chicks. Hens and Chicks are sempervivums and this is some sort of echeveria. But yes, with the baby on the side it does look similar. There are a few more underneath and between the leaves as well!

That’s a Margaret Rose, plain and simple. Leaves are the right shape, colour and just as fat as mine. The parts coming out of the leaves are flowers, which will hopefully confirm my ID. 😝
