Thank you so much all @rachelbrooks , @bluebell66 , @juliesgarden and @beckers1974 .They have been very reliable begonias , I planted 3 bulbs in a large pot 2 years ago and they stayed there since , even without any special care during 2 winters. They keep coming back late spring and start flowering mid July onwards ...

I've never really had much luck with them - are the slimers fond of the bulbs? I had a few last year but they flowered late and not brilliantly. Great to know these are reliable as well as gorgeous! Could be tempted to try again!

Maybe it is a good thing they start flowering quite late just like Dahlias as most perennials are passing their best I haven't had any problem with the slimers attacking these Begonias.

That's a great point and good news on the slimer front! I've been inspired to delay some lavender flowering from next year, to keep the display going and the bees happy! Only been on GT for a few short months but learned so much! Thank you for the info!
