Twins #pleione 💖💖
They're very pretty 💖💖
Beautiful 😍
That's lovely 😊
So lovly💕
Very pretty! So excited to be growing three different varieties of these this year and they've all sprouted leaves! 😀
Thank you all so much @christineb @sara2309 @lovemygarden65 @struddles and @bigemrg . They usually start with flowers first and then leaves follow , Ian . How big were the bulbs when you'd planted them ?
If I remember correctly they were about half an inch long! Unfortunately I originally planted them in a sandy gritty compost before being told better! They're now in a sphagnum moss and bark mix and shoots appeared within a week of repotting! 😀
I got flowers first this year @bigemrg too.
@sara2309 - Oh well, maybe next year I'll get them! At least they're planted in the right substrate now! 😀
Just beautiful 💕💕💕

Peacock Orchid... I love the way they multiply each year. I started with 3 bulbs last year , 5 flowers came up . I had 5 bulbs developed from those flowers this year and 9 flowers came up. I am already looking forward to next year's display...
Amazingly beautiful
Beautiful 😀
Stunning. Do you keep them outdoors all year, or bring them indoors for winter. Any tips would be welcome.
I left them outdoors all summer and it was around December I moved them in the our garage. Around early February I separated new Pseudobulbs from their spent mothers and planted them back into the same orchid compost allowing enough space in between. Beginning of April they started flowering again...
As far as I know they are hardy to -5 C.
Thankyou for the tips. I'll give them a try.
Beautiful flowers
Really lovely must try growing these 💜
@mojo You will not be disappointed. They are so beautiful and easy to look after.
Thanks so much for info 👍 do I need to buy from a specialist grower? 🤔
@mojo I remember I got mine from J.Parker's
All in bloom 💗 #mondaymotivation 😊
That's a new one to me? Never seen an orchid without leaves 🤔 and is it in soil? It's lovely!!
Lovely
Thanking you both so much 😊 Gillian @pottybird42 and @trynax . They are very easy going orchids , Gillian. They comeback every spring - first with flowers , afterwards with their leaves . They multiply , too. They ( Pseudo bulbs) are planted in Orchid Compost and John Innes mix. Highly recommended 😊
Wow 😮
😍 love it. ❤️❤️
Beautiful 😍😍
Thanking you all so much 😊 Sue @suerichards , Katie @ambitiouswolf , Melanie @greenfinger14
