I live to the south of Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire. Somewhat overcome by the work needed in the garden, I share bits of it! Twitter @oldgreyheron

Our son’s aeonium, now many years old just keeps changing! Multiple new growths have appeared over its winter stay in the cold greenhouse! #succulentsunday

Our monster aeonium - it started as one small rosette from #helmsleywalledgarden many years ago, initially cared for by our son! It’s called “squishy”! #succulent

The green relative of the now-sprouting red aeonium is growing very well. It has even successfully found the soil in the pot with an aerial root and is sprouting new growth there.

There are two aeoniums here, a multi-stemmed green one and a single stemmed red one. We are caring for them for our son Andrew who's currently working in the USA.

Hope they're easy to look after!

@kathy They're a bit temperamental, need light and warmth, and I'm told to water them sparsely... If they get too dry they drop their leaves quite readily. The green one is branching out and has become very top heavy. I had to buy a heavy pot for it!

If they're too heavy I'd be chopping the tops off and using the cuttings to grow more, just in case the originals decide to turn up their toes... #advice
