I live to the south of Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire. Somewhat overcome by the work needed in the garden, I share bits of it! Twitter @oldgreyheron

So difficult to photograph the tree with its fairly sparse flowers!

Our amelanchia is a little behind @geoffboston’s but surviving the frost too. The #pigeons are feeding on the buds fat too often for my liking, but if they’re not here they’re stripping the hawthorn! ☹️

I never knew pigeons eat flowerbuds. Every day is a school day. 😊

Something’s been eating the flowers on my primroses 😳 I don’t know if it could be pigeons or maybe it’s squirrels @ublaszko 🤔

It could be snails or blackbirds. I know some birds like yellow flowers and they eat them early in the season for nutrients. @jacaranda

There are always blackbirds in the flower beds, Urszula, so I think you’ve solved the mystery! Thank you 😘 @ublaszko

@justin Thanks for the tutorial, the duplicate imageless Amelanchia has now gone (sadly as has your comment). Is there a good # to discover how to use the app like the advice you gave me? Mike

You're very welcome Mike and glad it worked. There are a couple of tips here #gtagstips but I believe this is something @teamgardentags will be doing more of?
