Close up for @geoffboston : the "fronds" of leaves are about 6 inches long. The tree is late to come into leaf, and the branches are very brittle. Hope this helps!

geoffboston
Thanks Mike. That sounds and looks about right.

Robinia looking brilliant in the sun.

Good light. We think our tree which was here when we moved in is a Robinia. Any chance of a close up shot please?

It's evidence that Spring really is with us when the robinia wakes up! #newgrowth

It certainly felt like it today in the garden
My robinia is has died, or so I thought. Now there’s new growth from the base. Is it worth hoping that I’ll get a new tree from that? #question #help #please #robinia
