Hi Franca, I've had little success over the years with direct sowing, but find that sowing in #Rootrainers under cover works very well for me. Sown 12/03/16, planted out 01/05/16. @titchyfra

I'll give it a go, my dad is very basic/ rustic #tight! ☺️ I'm sure direct sows every year but will try to ask him what he does too, thanks @oldgreyheron

@sandraescapes I have more to plant yet - they freeze very well!

I only plant about 8 - 10 plants. I don't mind them but not super keen on them. They all go in the freezer too.
