Holy shirt - are my babies becoming variagated?

i think the lighter green in the middle is probably due to recent watering. a lot of my plants do this, too. it’s really noticeable on my mature superbum—it’s totally purple before a watering, but a day or two afterward, the new growth in the middle is light green. it eventually evens out to purple again. maybe that’s what’s going on here, i’m not sure!

Watered this little dude today. The leaves on the other side are getting really purple. Let it sit in the open window for a while since it was warm today as well. It seems happy. The stalk on the far right has a pup that's getting so big!
