This tree takes ages to come into leaf in Spring. But it has beautiful metallic purple leaves and in the autumn it has this wonderful bronze hue. The leaves are holding on well, which makes up for its tardiness in spring! Needs pollarding regularly or will outgrow my garden. #bestofautumn
