Oh my gorgeous!
3.07.2019 does anyone know why this is happening to my string of pearls? 😟 #stringofpearls #help
It looks like rot - is that where the water is poured when it's watered? Damp leaves on a succulent rot easily. Also, are the plants in potting soil or cactus soil? (Cactus soil is better, although it won't reverse rot.) I don't think the brown leaves can be saved - I pick them off & put them in a small pot. Usually they die, but one or two have rooted for me. :)
@battlekittyspastica thanks for the advice! unfortunately that's not the only place where it started to rot so I don't think it's related to the spot that's being watered and it's just regular soil now, even though I think I ought to change it soon. anyway, I removed the rotten ones and I placed the pot somewhere with less direct sunlight, cause I think it might have also been because I kept it outside in bright light and maybe this new wave of heat harmed it
@patri Yeah, pearls are a lot more challenging than a succulent should be... I know so many people who have trouble with theirs (myself included ^^). Good luck!
@battlekittyspastica thank you!
