To prune or not to prune... I was planning on topping 2-3x this year but now I’m not so sure. Recommendations gladly accepted! This is my first attempt growing fruit or anything “edible” (if you count a Carolina Reaper as edible that is 😅)
@jameswestly Thanks for the advice James! That’s actually just one plant in that container. I was hopeful this container would do but maybe I need to make sure I have a 5 gallon container before I top off again. It also looks like I may have the beginnings of flowers in some of the lower nodes of the branches. Will topping the branches ruin the flowers (if that’s what the even are lol)? I’m thinking the branches are definitely at pencil diameter or quickly approaching it.
@jameswestly Thanks again for the advice!

First time growing a pepper plant. Keeping my fingers crossed that this could be the start of flowers 🤞🏼

Lots of new growth since the first pruning. Moved him on up to his big boy pot today!

Picked-up this little baby Carolina Reaper over the weekend. I’ve never tried growing a fruit before. Lots of spicy fun ahead! Planning to prune later today.
