They seem to take a while to get going, I brough one back from Madera for a friend and it took 10 years to produce a flower - she said if it had not been a special present she woukd have binned it but by year 15 she had over 20 flowers

I'm delighted to see this agapanthus about to open. I thought I'd put it in front of my big ones and it had gone awol but I'd put it at the side. There's only one stem but it's a start. Hopefully it will do better next year 💙🤍💙 #agapanthus-twister #african-lily-twister #thought-it-wasawol #looking-for-the-positives

This may not look like much but I’m delighted to see it. I thought I’d lost my African Lily Twister and was about to put it in the bin. I took it out of the pot and the roots looked ok so I left it and it’s sprouting again 🎉🎉🎉 #african-lily-twister #agapanthus-twister

Are you going to plant them in your garden or in a pot. As those in my pots seem to do better, then the ones in the beds. 😍@pelly

At my previous home mine multiplied like rabbits. Eventually they took over most of my front garden. Before we moved I took over 180 out of my garden and donated them to the local nursery.

I have all of mine in pots Sue, they like their roots constricted so I’ll pot these up in slightly bigger ones then do it again in the spring, depending on how big they’re getting @suerichards 👍👍
