Hedychium densiflorum ‘Assam Orange’ may not have the biggest blooms in the tribe, or a sweet scent, but it is one the most reliably hardy and floriferous for UK gardens.

Some fantastic plants and photos Pete! Wish our weather further up north was as conducive to growing some of your exotics!😄 Do you still have to overwinter any indoors?

Thank you! Most things stay outside, but the more precious and tender plants: Trevesia, Strelitzia, Setaria, succulents and some of the Cannas get crammed into the greenhouse over winter. I'm very near the coast and although it's the east coast it still gives a little bit of welcome mildness in the hardest winters.
