Impatiens rothii self seeds around a bit in my sandy soil. Not so much as to be a pest but enough that I’ll probably never be without it. I was doing a bit of digging today as my little pond is leaking and I’m going to need to remodel and reline it. The edges are filled with Petasites frigida ‘Golden Palms’ and a few self seeded I. rothii. I dug one up and unearthed some pretty sizeable tubers!
