Gerbera Garvinea 'Sweet Glow'

Two of the three gerberas on the balcony. The third was given to my grandmother. All three produced lovely flowers, and the two here have buds coming up

One of the daughter plants, this has never produced a flower but always had a lot of leaf growth. This is the one I left in the conservatory. The other three were left on the balcony, which gets full sun.

The mother gerbera with a single flower out. It's recovered from a dark winter in the lounge, and put out healthy looking new leaves, and has had up to five or six flowers out at a time before today

The mother plant with the four surviving daughter plants. Many germinated but I think some succumbed to root rot, as they failed to get past their seed leaves

Some of the more successful gerbera seedlings. Some of the leaves are a bit yellow but they all seem to be putting out growth, which is good.

Some of the germinated gerberas. Not all the seeds germinated as expected. Some of the seedlings seem to be going brown and starting to fail. Others are developing small crowns.

This is the mother plant I took the seeds from. Leaves are a bit flimsy, wondering if it needs to be put into the ground. I'd prefer to keep it in the pot though.

Lots of new shoots coming up, very happy with how many have germinated from the seeds I harvested.
