I’m trying to get photos of this to show more of the full plant. It’s growing in a bed of #ivy, in the #shade, on a #slope. I just moved into this house and the bed needs to be cleaned out still 🤦🏼♀️ Not looking forward to wrestling with all the #poison-ivy! I’ll post a couple more pics of the #mystery-plant (or #weed) 😃

I'm wondering if this is a #acer sapling. @mikekally @mikethegardener @SikoMa @grantham @GREENFINGERSLTD @rhsgreeninggreybritain @sussexwestngs @ngseastsussex @dee @Acetaker @brightcolours @BobWallace @linfoster @bensgarden @clipperty @daniels @darrenlakin @euphorbia @flof1952 @hardys

I'm wondering if this is a acer (EDITED: #hickorytree) sapling. @mikekally @mikethegardener @SikoMa @grantham @GREENFINGERSLTD @rhsgreeninggreybritain @sussexwestngs @ngseastsussex @dee @Acetaker @brightcolours @BobWallace @linfoster @bensgarden @clipperty @daniels @darrenlakin @euphorbia @flof1952 @hardys

Hi Lesley, this looks like young Hickory tree #hickorytree to me. But not quite sure. Is it possible in your area? I'm sorry @KariSamuel I do not think it's an acer. It has different leaves architecture.

@bensgarden - I will tag you in my latest post! 😂😂😂

I'm so sorry Kari @KariSamuel I read just the first part ☺️. In this case it's almost clear, I think. It's #hickorytree

Sorry to have been no help at all today! Never seen a hickory tree before, but think @bensgarden could be right! @KariSamuel

Sorry Kari idk @KariSamuel

Inth8nknyouve got the answer, which is just as well as I had no idea 😆 @KariSamuel xx

Hi Lesley and welcome to gt ! I cant help with this plant but I'm sure someone will be able to .Enjoy !

Hi @Muzz67 thanks for welcoming me. What a cool app! I’m happy I found it! Hopefully someone knows what this is. It’s driving me nuts! 😜😂

It is a really great app Lesley😁 Hopefully someone can help soon. Can't wait to see more of your plants and garden 😉

Do you perhaps have a picture of this plants leaves as it may help with the id ? If so you just add it to the same plant on your page 😁

There aren’t any leaves on the Branch. It’s as if the peach petals may be the leaves.

Hmmmm. 🤔 I'm not sure what this is, but I will forward it to a few other ☆Rockstars☆ to see if they can help. @joanboston @jamesshobbs @PlantDoctor @tesselaarplants @danielrichards @daisy-jane @cyndi @ShelleySnyder @lovestogarden @mrsflowerpot @kathy @gjones @juliesgarden @daisy-jane @awomanonabike @treefrog44 @tinaaune @tkept @columbiariver..... (brain fog)...

Oh my this is so cool! Sorry I don't know! Wish I did!! @KariSamuel 💘😍

Gosh, I don’t know either I’m afraid but it looks fabulous. Is that a flower bud at the top? It might be more obvious when it opens if it is. As for “Rockstar” Kari, that’s a first! 😂😂 @KariSamuel

@KariSamuel @cyndi @ShelleySnyder @awomanonabike I posted more pics of the whole branch. The first pic I posted was how the plant began. It then started sprouted curled up “leaves” from the branches points with the “orchid-feeling” petals curling up along the stalk. 🤔 thanks for your help everyone!
Another view of the #mystery-plant 🤔
@pixelsandpistacchios I’m going to go out on a limb here and by the top of it from what I can see it “MIGHT “ be related to an Imperial Lilly. Google that and see and also scroll down on my plant pictures to my skunk Lilly. Tom. 🍀🍀🍀
