Amazing #aerialroots on that #keiki I think it's ready to be cut off the mother, but I haven't had time to get the proper medium to plant it in 🤩🌱

My #orchid grew some new leaves a few weeks ago, and now they have these #silver roots coming out. This is my first orchid and I know nothing about #orchidcare what does this mean and what do I do now? Please #help me?

@pixiejinx @matewe Keep it for the moment as it is. They are called keiki (baby plant). Continue to look after the mother plant as you do. Water with room temperature water only when the roots are silvery - grey and never from the top of the plant.
