When the sun is shining and the sky is blue there is only one place you will find me.....in the garden. I have always had a great love for plants šŸ˜Š

Help me identify this plant please. Itā€™s an orchid but Iā€™m not sure which one. The leaves are like a cymbidium.

@cyndi- thank you but I havenā€™t really dealt with many cymbidiums and Iā€™m gonna have to search this one. Give me a little bit and Iā€™ll see what I can come up with. It is definitely and cymbidium though.

@alan1111 Youā€™re welcome & thank you. I had surgery on the 10th Dec (hysterectomy and to fix a prolapsed bladder) Iā€™ve got to rest for 6 weeks & not lift anything which is very hard not to. Iā€™ve also got back surgery on Feb 4th which is sooner than expected (was to be in April) so thatā€™ll be 6-8wks on crutches and no weight baring on my left leg. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 Iā€™ll be much better afterwards & be able to do some gardening this year, all going well!! 🙏🏼Happy New Year to you & yours. 🥳

You really are going through the mill Christine. I hope both ops are a total success and you make a complete recovery. Here's to you being able to get back to the garden as soon as possible. Happy new year 😊💞

@alan1111 Thank you 🙏🏼 it feels like it. Itā€™s been relentless, one thing after another. Iā€™ve got my positive head on though and Iā€™m determined that this year is going to be a good one. Hard work but I think itā€™s my turn to have a bit of luck and a break from surgeries and pain. 2020 is going to be all smiles 😁🙏🏼🤞🏼Happy New Year to you and yours 🥳🍾🥂🎉ā˜˜ļø

In the two years I've been on GT you really have been through a wars. When these two ops are done you'll be on the home straight to a full recovery. It's great you have a positive mindset it can be hard to keep at times, this much I do know. I'll stay in touch from time to time 😊💞

Itā€™s been going on since 2013 Iā€™ve lost count of all the procedures Iā€™ve had. Iā€™ve had my low, lows & gave up thinking about my garden at one point. Thanks to my amazing Consultant I found (my local hospital denied anything wrong with my back 😕) Iā€™ve got more mobility back. Iā€™ll never be perfect as Iā€™ve got arthritis in my spine but Iā€™m so much better than I was before seeing him. After this back op heā€™s going to burn the nerves later on in the year & thatā€™ll help a lot. Iā€™ve got to a stage....

Thank you 🙏🏼 for your messages itā€™s very kind of you. Please do keep in touch as it will also remind me to come on here and look at everyoneā€™s beautiful plants and flowers 💐🌱🍃🌻🍀
