This is a picture of my beautiful Copper Beech hedge, I had to have it greatly reduced (it was approximatley 6:1/2ft high) when my neighbor had someone "hack" at it with a pair of blunt!!! shears and introduced mould into it, as you can see it's now recovered but it's left gaps and needs trimming and I'm not confident enough to do it my question is will the gappy bit thicken up and not look obvious if done by a professional It's my pride and joy and it broke my heart to see what someone's done

Had copper beech cut looks a bit shocking but necessary will pick up
It was a pity but they do come back the farmers flail the Beech hedges around here!
