@polly21 First of all keep it out from the decorative pot.Let the roots to photosynthesis. Keep it somewhere with bright light but not direct sunlight. Water only with room temperature water when the roots are silvery grey in color. Also smell the medium. If smells bad repot it. Do not use fertiliser. Hope you see soon the birth of a new leaf.
Oh @Christos thank you so much, as soon as I read your reply I took it out of the decorative pot and the medium has no smell to it so I'm assuming it okay at present, when it needs watering do I leave it until it's totally dry and then water it from the top?
@polly21 Yes leave the medium to dry completely. When it's time for watering place the plastic pot inside the decorative pot. Pour water down the edge of the decorative pot avoiding as much as you can the centre of the plant. Add water until the level is in the middle. Leave it 15 minutes and then let it drain thoroughly. Good luck.

@Christos thank you for your kindness it's very appreciated
@polly21 The same happened to me. I don't know what was wrong but some orchids, especially the Phalaenopsis hybrids, can be quite tricky.
