Canna indica syn. Canna discolor, Canna indica 'Edulis', Canna lanuginosa, Canna limbata, Canna 'Limbata'

Grows like crazy, spreading through rhizomes. The leaves are large, simple, and alternating. The flower is irregular with 3 sepals, 4 petals. The pollen is on a stamen that looks like a modified petal. The carpel is inferior and 3 chambered. Now that I've planted it. I can't seem to get rid of it. Little pieces of rhizomes turn in to new plants. Very beautiful when in bloom though.

Extremely hard to eradicate!!
