Rosa 'The Fairy' syn. Rosa 'Fairy Rose', Rosa 'Perle Rose'

The pink fairy rose - one of my favorite rose bushes I have. It's old - my parents planted it when I was born and it's still just as beautiful. It's over 30 years old. That's all I'll tell you lol ;)

Lol @cyndi it does! It's one of the more frangrant true 'bush' roses I've come across.

It's hard for me to consider knock out roses, a rose because they have such little scent @pretty_paws_29 @cyndi

@lesliecole49 my red, bright pink and blush pink smell amazing, and loud lol but the white and yellow don't hardly have any scent at all. The pink in this picture aren't knockouts though, and they're the best in the yard. The little trailing rose I have smells nice, but nothing like these lol.

I have yo admit, the knockouts that came with my house, have been blooming all summer

@cyndi I love lady banks roses, but I've never had much luck with them. I have a ton of clay in the soil. I've always said one year I'm going to make a raised bed and fill it with good soil just to get some roses going lol. Maybe this is a sign to go ahead and get it going lol! @lesliecole49 I have pinks that go all the way around the house and they bloom non-stop from spring to the first freeze. If you're looking for a bloomer, they're the way to go

I have beautiful red knockouts that came with the house, there's about 7 that are as tall as me even tho I cut them back to nothing last year. They are beautiful, I just wish they had a fragrance. @pretty_paws_29 @cyndi
