@Acetaker You sure can. I'll get you a few little ones up , pot them and keep them inside until I can get your box mailed off to you. I'll just stick them in with the rest of the goodies I've been hoarding for you lol!

I see what u were saying about leaf difference. What does it look like when it blooms?
pretty_paws_29
@Acetaker it looks like a pinecone coming up on a stalk with tiny little blooms that open up on it, I'll post a pic and tag you in it lol

It's amazing the different types of the same variety that smell or do different things mine has Jasmine flowers..they use them in Hawaii for the flowers they give u around your neck...ughh I am brain dead... can't remember the name.
@Acetaker This is a patch of the pinecone ginger growing out in the yard.
How cold do your winters get?
@kimguy Not too bad, I'm in zone 8b, right now we're having days in the 70 and nights in the 50s. Second freeze is coming this weekend. We're 'chilly' november through feb, with lows around 31-24 degrees, but never in long stretches. We have 2-3 cold days, and then like a week of warmer weather - and back and forth. We do get "snow-dustings" very rarely. But it did happen one day out of the whole winter last year and maybe a week the year before. But it never really sticks or builds up any.
@kimguy but our winters are very wet and rainy, and still humid as hell lol
I've only been to Georgia in the middle of summer and that was hot & humid! @pretty_paws_29
