My Caribbean tree cactus now is a standing plant rather than a table top one. Really becoming a tree!

It's almost time to repot this and start slowly introducing it to full sun.

The indoor new growth on this is perfect. No etiolation whatsoever. Perfectly healthy and symmetrical! Since this is a tropical island cactus and not a desert one, Ill probably keep it watered at a minimum overwinter as opposed to zero water whatsoever for my desert cacti.

They grow on the island floor in shade until they reach sunlight height then become full sun plants. I think. This grew faster and taller than any of my other cacti and its one of only 3 grown in full shade.

This is one of two cacti that I grow in mostly shade, right beside my coffee, aloes and haworthia.
